4 Months

Klein had her 4 month appointment last Monday. I just thought I would do a little comparison between her and Max at the same age

Max
Weight: 17 pounds 1 ounce
Length: 25.5 inches
Head Circumference: 42.6 centimeters
Klein
Weight: 16 pounds 3 ounces
Length: 26.5 inches
Head Circumference: 41.5 centimeters

The doctor was freaking out over how long Klein is- she is in the 99th percentile! Hopefully she will be a tall girl like I always wanted to be.

Cowboy Max

Max finally earned his cowboy boots! I doubt he will ever take them off again. His dream is to be just like Grandpa Lee. When I ask him what he wants to be when he grows up, he says "a grandpa." In this picture, Max is wearing a John Deere shirt... he still needs to learn that Grandpa Lee only buys the red tractors.

WWF Max

This year Max became a wrestler. Technically, they don't start until kindergarten but I have an "in" at MC (one of the few perks of being a teacher). It has been really fun for him to go and burn off some energy on the mats. He is a little bit tentative but he is coordinated and can do the moves. It was also very entertaining to watch.

Good Bye Jeneille!

Our nanny Jeneille left for her mission to Hawaii today. She gave me a whole disk of pictures that she had taken of the kids. As you can see, they had lots of fun together. She took them to her house to see the animals a few times. The last picture is a classic of her brother getting spit up on. We will really miss her!

A little behind...

Here are a few Halloween pics. Max drew on his own beard and eyebrows... he is very creative and independent. Our darling nanny, Jeneille, brought Klein this cute pumpkin outfit to wear on Halloween. Jeneille will be leaving us for a mission to Hawaii- we are really going to miss her.
This weekend was the state volleyball tournament which marks the end of the season. I enjoy coaching volleyball but it has been a tough year. I am looking forward to some free time to catch up on all the projects that have been piling up and trying to get ready for Christmas which always comes way too fast after Halloween. Thanks Lori for the bouncy seat Klein is chilling in below.
Stop Growing! Why do kids have to grow so fast! Not only do I feel like I am going to miss something if I turn my head, I also have to keep buying new wardrobes for each of them every season which makes me a little jealous as I continue to wear some of my high school favorites. Oh well, the kids are much more fun to dress.
