Max wanted to be a pirate but I was not very motivated in finding a costume. Luckily, Kings came through with this piece of polyester magic. Of course Max has not taken it off and it is nearly in tatters already, which will be fine as a pirate. I just hope I can tear it away from him once Halloween is over. He wore his Batman costume up until June of this year when it "mysteriously" disappeared.
This week Max also started wrestling. Monica tipped me off to this new athletic endeavor. Max technically shouldn't start until next year but Coach Swensen said that I could bring him out (it is great having MC connections- one of the perks of my job). It was the cutest thing ever. I wasn't sure how it would go but he learned a lot in just one night. There was a meet on Saturday but we decided he could use a bit more practice (his first instinct is to punch the other kids rather than wrestle but he is getting there).

I didn't really buy a costume for Klein but threw together this ballerina outfit at the last minute. The skirt is actually a darling tulle number from Old Navy that she can wear when Halloween is over. I put on her Baby Legs legwarmers and found some cute silver ballet slippers. She looks too grown up in this picture. She is an angel. She is always so happy and sleeps through the night. She fell asleep before 5:00 the other night and slept until 5:30! I had to keep going into her room to make sure she was okay. I finally moved her into the crib for good. The bassinet was just getting too small although I prefer having her close. The other picture I took of her last Sunday- she looks so serious. It was probably because she was wearing tights- I hate them too! It is hard when cold weather comes to find something suitable for church because I avoid tights, nylons, and anything of that persuasion at all costs. However, Ugg knockoffs are not very suitable for Sunday- oh the joys of being a girl!

Amazing! Max has grown so much I wouldn't have recognized him. He is super cute, and your little girl is very sweet, love the ballerina costume. I am loving West. And Jenny is just down the hall from me, I'll say hello for you. I keep my kids at Highland with Monique for this year, but next year when Taya is in kindergarten I'll bring Tyce with me to West, it will be so convenient. Good to be in touch with a fellow teacher/mother. I'm glad I'll be able to track all of your cute family's happenings,
Oh, Dixie. You and your kids are lucky!
Look at all those cute kids! It started with good genes! Who's pregnant again? Max and Klein look adorable in their costumes! Love the tutu! She is sooo BIG!
