Fall Fun!

On Friday, October 14 we ventured over to the Heritage Center to check out their fall festivities. It was a warm, beautiful day. The kids played in the straw, the honeycomb maze, and the giant slide. They also rode the train and the ponies. The Weese's joined us too. Preslee loved the giant slide and at one point tried to go down by herself... luckily, I was fast and dove to grab her before she got going too fast. It was a fun afternoon. We didn't go into the corn maze because I worried about the girls but we were busy doing the other activities. This fall weather has been gorgeous.

Here are some pictures of our pumpkin painting night. Kids love to paint! I tried to give Preslee a brush but she ended up eating the paint so I had to change my tactic. Max painted all sides of his and Klein settled on pink and purple everywhere. It is a fun tradition. Eventually we will probably have to carve the pumpkins but for now, painting works.

Fall break has been pretty low key. I was sad that we didn't go anywhere but the weather is lovely and the kids have had fun playing at home. We ventured to the Pumpkin Walk with our favorite cousins and then played at a park and got ice cream afterwards. I don't want to go back to school! I can't believe that October is almost over!
