Beaver Mountain was definitely the place to be today. It was sunny and warm and the company was excellent. We got to the mountain and Max was dying to ski. We made a few runs, sent Max off to lessons, skied together, got Max from lessons and skied until 3:00 without stopping. The weather was perfect for a fair weather skier like myself.
But, I am sitting here and my legs are killing me. I don't think I have ever skied that hard in my entire life. Not to mention it was my first day really skiing this year...
Max does not stop- he skis every run, top to bottom without stopping. It only got more fun and more fast when we joined up with our neighbors, the Jenson's. Max, and their son, Jack spent the remainder of the afternoon racing and jumping. I was seriously skiing as fast as I could to catch up to them on numerous occasions. It was a blast and totally worth the pain I am in right now.
Jason took some video of Max skiing so I created a little video on iMovie with the highlights.
What a fabulous day!
